Mr. Barry Purvis, 63 of Adel passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Purvis was born April 28, 1954 in Adel and worked at Pike Creek as a foreman.

Survivors include his mother, Nadine Rentz Capan of Panama City, Fl.; brothers, Ronnie (Shirley) Purvis of Adel, and Larry (Kayla) Capan of Adel; uncles, Billy Rentz of Doerun, and Charles Rentz of Tallahassee; and several nieces & nephews.  Mr. Purvis was preceded in death by his father, Duane Purvis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
