Mrs. Carolyn Henderson, 82 of Sparks passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Cook Senior Living Center. Mrs. Henderson was born June 14, 1935 to the late Bryan & Oda Belle Hancock Henderson.  She was a member of New Life Baptist Church and served as a Pink Lady at Cook Medical Center for many years.  

Survivors include her sisters, JoAnn (James) Smith of Nashville, and Linda Lindsey of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Henderson; sisters, Virginia Rothwell, Genevieve Robinson, and Betty Lynch.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Payne officiating.  A private burial will be held at Pine Grove Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
