Edna Jones

Mrs. Edna Jones, 72 of Quitman passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at her daughter's residence. Mrs. Jones was born November 22, 1945 to the late James Walker Williford and Irma Register Williford. She was a bank teller at Ameris Bank before she retired and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Jones of Quitman; children, Bryan (Jayne) Exum of Quitman, Joey Exum of Quitman, Gail (Javier) Exum deGonzalez of Holly Springs, N.C., Amy (Matt) Reaves of Hahira, Pamela (Bob) Dorough of Jacksonville, Fl, and Chip (Donna) Jones of Valdosta; grandchildren, Colton Exum of Tx, Tallon Exum of Quitman, Alejandro Gonzalez-Exum of N.C., Camryn Gonzalez-Exum of N.C., Siles Reaves of Hahira, Lily Reaves of Hahira, Klancy Jones of Valdosta, Drew Dorough of Jacksonville Fl, Reid Dorough of Jacksonville, Fl, and Cole Dorough of Jacksonville, Fl.; brothers, John (Wanda) Williford of North Bend, Orgeon, Bill Williford of Quitman; sisters, Frances Williford of Quitman, Deane Clement of Valdosta,. Faye Busbin of Norman Park, and Lucy Exum of Thomasville. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by three brothers, Emory Williford, Curtis Williford, and Buck Williford; one sister, Mozelle Evans.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Rev. Klay Luke officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home.
