Henry Allen Obituary

Mr. Henry Allen, 88 of Sparks passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Southern Senior Retirement. Mr. Allen was born January 3, 1930 to the late Robert & Jewel Allen. He served in the United States Army and was a truck driver before he retired. Mr. Allen was a member of Vance I'll Christian Church in Tift County.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Patton Allen of Sparks; children, David Allen of Sparks, Tim Allen of Hoboken, Ga, Bart Allen of West Green, Ga, Deborah Allen Holt of Titus, Al, Pamela Allen Jordan of Apison, Tn, and Joy Allen Henderson of Ft Valley, Ga; eight grandsons, and four granddaughters; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Dot Chaney of Tampa Fl. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Allen, Johnny Allen, and Billy Allen; three sisters, Ruth Goodman, Nelda Jo Presley, and Angeline McKeun.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
