Letha Bailey Obituary

Mrs. Letha Bailey, 76 of Nashville passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Bailey was born November 28, 1941 to the late Lester & Hettie Rouse Cook. She was a homemaker and was a member of Nashville Church of God and often attended the Abundant Life Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Bailey of Nashville; five sons, Jimmy (Becky) Bailey, Jr. of Valdosta, Ricky Bailey of Valdosta, Stacy (Lisa) Bailey of Nashville, Dusty (Tanya) Bailey of Nashville, and Rusty Bailey of Nashville; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, J. B. Cook of Nashville; three sisters, Nell (Sam) Walden of Adel, Betty Miller of Nashville, and Linda (Donald) Sumner of Nashville. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by one brother, L. C. Cook.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Nashville Church of God with Pastor Scott Walker and Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Nashville. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
