Maria Leverett-Singletary, 39 of Hahira passed Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her residence.  Maria was born September 20, 1978 in San Marcos, TX. and was a cashier at the Big Foot Truck Stop in Hahira.  

Survivors include her son, Joseph William Leverett of Hahira; father, Larry G. Singletary, Sr of Hahira; mother, Patricia E. Yearling of Barney; fiancé, James Foy of Quitman; brothers, Larry Singletary, Jr. of Ray City, Anthony Dominique Singletary of Savannah, and Michael James Singletary of Hahira; nieces, Holly Singletary, and Kerah Willis; nephews, Jacob L Singletary, Hunter Collins, and Korben Singletary; great niece, Aubrey Singletary; maternal granddad, Bryan Yarling of Santa Maria, CA; uncle, Chuck Yarling of Austin, TX; sisters in law, Lisa Singletary, and Jennifer Singletary.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Friendship Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
