Mr. Wayne Boyd, 64 of Nashville passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Boyd was born January 28, 1953 in Nashville, GA to the late Jessie & Elma Sirmans Boyd.  He was of the Baptist Faith and worked at Queen Carpet before retiring. 

Survivors include his daughter, Kim Boyd of Moultrie, and Marrianne Boyd (Sherry Blevins) of Nashville; grandchildren, Kayla Boyd, Carley Boyd, Dominique Blevins, Titan Blevins, D. J. Blevins, and Matt Blevins; nieces, Kari Bonham of Nashville, Tina of Bainbridge and several more nieces and nephews.  Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Boyd; two sisters, Thelma Boyd and Zettie Lee Griffin; and granddaughter, Summer Boyd.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home, 207 E. Mitchell St. with Pastor Becky King officiating.
