Mr. Allen Craft, Jr., 47 of Sparks passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Mr. Craft was born February 6, 1971 and was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Ashburn. He worked with the City of Tifton for over 26 years and supervised for over 20 of those years. He enjoyed watching kids play ball, enjoyed Nascar racing and was constantly listening to music. He loved to work, but most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal Craft of Sparks; children, David Allen Craft of Sparks, and Emily Gayle Craft of Sparks; mother, Sylvia (Bobby) Wiley of Ashburn; brothers, Bo Carpenter of Cordele, Jarrett Craft of Cordele, Josh Craft of Cordele, Jason Craft of Cordele, Andrew Craft of Cordele, Thomas Craft of Hazlehurst, Bobby Wiley, Jr. of Ashburn, and Corey Wiley of Ashburn; sisters, Wanda Myers of Ashburn, and Tina Wiley of Ashburn; father & mother in law, David and Irene Spires of Sparks; brother in law & sister in law, Chris & Katrina Spires of Sparks; special nephews, Paden Spires, Candler Spires, and Camden Spires; several nieces & nephews. Mr. Craft was preceded in death by his father, Allen Craft, Sr.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Staunton Cemetery in Lenox. The family will be receiving friends two hours prior to the service, from 2-4 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
