Betty Jean Goff

Mrs. Betty Jean Goff, 84 of Lenox passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at her residence.  Mrs. Goff was born March 8, 1935 to the late Julian Eugene Griner & Alma Rhodes Griner.  She retired from Metal Products after 32 years as a machine operator and was a charter member of Temple Calvary Holiness Church.  

Survivors include her children, Ken (Debi) Goff of Hahira, Sandra (Raiford) Walker of Lenox, and Shirley Goff Ray (Darrell) Webb of Lenox; grandchildren, Kyle Goff, Ty Goff, Darbi Goff Hilliard, Jeffrey Ray, Jason Ray, Jessica Ray Owens, Keith Walker, Michele Castleberry, Leslie Walker Woods, Heather Walker Griffin, and Jonathan Walker; 19 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; sister in laws, Louise Williams of West Berrien, Reba Bennett of West Berrien, Marie Hogan of Tifton, and Patricia Eason of Nashville.  Mrs. Goff was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Goff; brother, Leroy Griner; sister, Velma Griner; and sister in laws, Virginia Lokey and Betty Call.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Hughes, Rev. Jonathan Walker, and Rev. Logan Walker officiating.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
