Dewey Wayne Harrell, Jr., 36 of Adel passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Dewey was born December 8, 1982 in Orlando, Fl. He loved music and playing his guitar.

Survivors include his mother, Shelia McCall White of West Virginia; stepmother & stepfather, Candy and Rick Garren of Virginia; brothers, Robert (Allison) Hersey of Adel, and Richard White of West Virginia; sisters, Nicki Cummings of West Virginia, Angela Harrell of West Virginia, Misty (Todd) Shepard of Virginia, and Amanda White of West Virginia; nieces and nephews, Gavin Hersey, Leah Hern, Breanna Harrell, Jenna Hall, Zachary Cummings, Kaitlyn Hersey, Cameron Hersey, Allyza Shepard, Luke Shepard, Dater White, Jaleesa Robiou, and Jose Robiou, Jr. Dewey was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Wayne Harrell, Sr.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Dorman officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
