Doris Morgan

Mrs. Doris Morgan, 70 of Adel passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at her residence.  Mrs. Morgan was born January 12, 1948 to the late B. H. Miley & Viola Baker Miley.  

Survivors include her children, Dale (Myra) Morgan, Jr. of Ray City, Barry Lamar Morgan of Adel, Christopher Lance (Amy) Morgan of Moultrie, Brent Matthew Morgan of Adel, and Spencer (Rebecca) Morgan of Adel; grandchildren, Justin (Samantha) Morgan, Alyssa Morgan, Sebastian Morgan, Caden Morgan, Savannah Rae Morgan, Brittany Morgan, Kyra Morgan, Bearin Morgan, Julie-Ann (Seth) Griffin, Jacob Morgan, and Morgan Weeks; great grandchildren, Carolina Grace Gerald, Glory June Morgan, and Grayson Shelby Morgan; brothers, Bob (Gail) Miley of Enigma, Charlie Miley of Valdosta, John (Jean) Miley of Valdosta, Larry Miley of Nashville, and David (Brinda) Miley of Lakeland; brother in law, Leighton Greene of Tifton; sister in law, Janice Miley of Sparks; several nieces & nephews; and special niece, Tonia Lynn Fraley.  Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Morgan, Sr.; grandchild, Sydney Grace Morgan; brother, Horace Miley; sisters, Dot Orr, Josephine Cafin, Pauline Greene, Beverly Ann Clements, and Margie Lightsey.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Mr. Chris Miley officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.  The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
