Dorothy Bristol

Mrs. Dorothy Bristol, 87 of Adel passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Bristol was born October 28, 1931 to the late William & Ava Roe Bennett.  She was a member of the Ray City Freewill Holiness Church and retired from Metal Products.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Bristol of Adel; children, Wayne (Lynn) Goff of Pavo, Louis Goff of Sparks, Chris Bristol of Ray City, and Allan Bristol of Cecil; grandchildren, Tony Goff, Kathy Kelley, Ken Goff, Lorianne Wilson, Laci Chaney, Lyle Goff, Amber Fulghum, Amanda McDowell, Cameron Bristol, Kayla Matthews, Cody Bristol, Kimberly Bristol, Daphne Blaxton, Heather Bristol, Morgan Bristol, and Kelci Wilkerson; 22 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Bristol was preceded in death by her former spouse, George Goff; children, Lynn Bristol Wilkerson, and Dracey Bristol; and one grandson, Joel Wilkerson. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Freddie Stone, and Rev. James Tyson officiating.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
