Faye Royals

Mrs. Lucy Faye Royals, 84 of Sparks passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 in Tifton, Georgia.  Mrs. Royals was born February 19, 1934 to the late Robert & Kate Kirkland Delk. 

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Vernon Royals of Sparks; her children: Marshall Mizell of Manor, Frances Arnold of Homerville, Romona Baptista of Tifton, Robert Mizell of Homerville, Randy Mizell of Homerville, Charles Mizell of Homerville, Joe Mizell of Homerville, Debbie Barrett of Sparks, and James “Jimmy” Mizell of Homerville; her stepchildren: Virginia Lupo, James Royals, Frances Mizell, Rachel Shelton, Linda Towler, Norma Royals, and Sid Mizell; 31 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren; and her siblings: Vera Mae Thurman of Douglas, Kathryn Cowart of Waycross, Vita Pearl Chestmore of Lakeland, Evelyn Cox of Lakeland, Doris Stone of Jasper, FL, and Grover “Lee” Cowart of Jacksonville, FL.  Mrs. Royals was preceded in death by four children, and by a sister and brother.  

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Komorowska officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening, January 20, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home in Adel.  

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Jimmy Mizell, Joseph Mizell, Michael Barrett, Allen Mizell, Marcus Harper, Derrick Mizell, and David Barrett.
