Geneva Taylor

Mrs. Geneva Taylor, 100 of Sparks passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Cook Senior Living Center.  Mrs. Taylor was born January 16, 1919 to the late Thomas Matthew Bennett & Lovie Harris Bennett.

Survivors include her children, Latrelle Webb of Sparks, and James (Franna) Taylor of Adel; grandchildren, Keith Webb, Jamie Taylor, Sonja Guilbeau, Dennis Taylor, and Tina French; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.  Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor; son, Wayne Taylor; brothers and sisters, Sallie Murphy, Mae Bell Browning, Elon Watson, Solmon "Buck" Bennett, Ethridge Bennett, Mathew Thomas "M.T." Bennett, and Homer Bennett

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Calvary Holiness Church with Bro. Silas Carver, Rev. Jonathon Walker, and Rev. Christy Bandy officiating.  Interment will follow at Wilkes Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
