Halbert William King

Mr. Hal King, 84 of Sparks passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Southwelll Health and Rehab.  Mr. King was born May 21, 1935 in Adel to the late John & Kathyrn Olgetree King.  He was owner of Hal King Air Conditioning before he retired.  Mr. King was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta King of Sparks; children, Dwayne King of Hendersonville, NC, Sharon (John) Eitnire of Hendersonville, NC, Clifford King of Miami, Sean (Laurie) King of Miami, and Peter King of Melbourne, Fl.; grandchildren, Peter King, Dennis Michael King, and Destiny King; brothers, John Hardy King, and Dennis C. King; sisters, Betty Jean King, Mary Jo King, and Kathy King.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating.  The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
