Lloyd "Bo" Cole Obituary

Mr. Lloyd "Bo" Cole, 87 of Nashville passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his residence.  Mr. Cole was born in Alabama on September 24, 1932 to the late Clarence & Bessie Youngblood Cole.  He started working in logging before following his love of all things automobile to open and operate Cole's Automotive, which he owned for 38 years. Mr. Cole was an avid race car driver, owner and builder, and enjoyed participating in, watching and attending races throughout his life.  He loved riding motorcycles and flying airplanes, hobbies which were both passed down to his sons and grandsons.  You could always find him reading his Bible, numerous newspapers, or tinkering with cars or motorcycles or working wood.  He was a devoted member of Call to Faith Tabernacle and after becoming a Christian, he enjoyed visiting friends, old and new, in local nursing homes.  Mr. Cole was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather and got so much joy from his family.  He was known and loved far and wide by many people and was always willing to help others at his business and in his personal life.   

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Luke Cole of Nashville; children, Lloyd Cole of Adel, Stan (Kristie) Cole of Ellijay, Adam (Jennifer) Cole of Nashville, Carol Cole of Cherry Log, GA, and Valeria Cole of Tifton; grandchildren, Peyton (Cliff) Taylor, Lauren Cole, Jenna Cole, Ethan Cole, Garron Cole, Cadian Cole, Eban Cole, Cora Cole, Doran Cole, Zaniel Cole, and Atleigh Cole; two great grandchildren, Deacon Taylor, and Rowan Taylor; one sister, Joyce Cole Lewis (Ricky West) of Nashville.  Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his son, Corey Cole, grandchild, Tiyan Cole, and one brother, Harold Cole.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Minister Ron Coleman and Mr. Lloyd Cole officiating.  Interment will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens.  The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
