Louise Stripling Obituary

Mrs. Louise Stripling, 98 of Sparks passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Stripling was born November 23, 1919 to the late Sumner & Fannie Wooten DeVane. She was a member of Springhill Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Patsy (Rountree) Whitehurst of Adel, and Linda (Junior) Roland of Sparks; grandchildren, Steve Walker of Sparks, Scott Walker of Sparks, and Gina Roland of Lake Park; great grandson, Ryan Walker of Springfield, MO; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stripling was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leon Stripling; brother, Leda DeVane; two sisters, Mae Harrell, and Dorothy Tyson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Springhill Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dwight Marshall, and Elder Barry Marshall officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
