Margaret Norris Obituary

Mrs. Margaret Norris, 78 of Sparks passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Norris was born June 9, 1940 to the late Lee & Minnie Olive Spooner. She was a member of Sparks United Methodist Church and a member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Cook Medical Center. Mrs. Norris retired from Queen Carpet in Tifton.

Survivors include her daughter, Patty (Bobby) Watson of Tolland, CT; grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Watson, and Robert Ernest Watson, III; several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her husband in October 2016, Archie Norris; brothers, Ralph Spooner, and Albert Spooner; one sister, Marie Wacter.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sparks United Methodist Church with Rev. Sally K. Flowers, and Rev. John Harrington officiating. Interment will follow at Sparks City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
