Maureen Roberts Obituary
Mrs. Maureen Roberts, 76 of Sparks passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Roberts was born September 7, 1942 to the late Raymond & Leslie Raper Bristol. She attended Concord Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years of marriage, Charles Roberts of Sparks; children, Wanda (Larry) Pounds of Lenox, Linda Roberts of Sparks, and Iva (James) Evans of Nashville; grandchildren, Reagan Green, Ryann Green, Kyle Baldree, Dana Hearst, and David (Melissa) Pounds; great grandchildren, Kailyn Hearst, Camden Hearst, Hudson Hearst, Tristan Pounds, and Taylor Pounds; brother, Ronnie Bristol of Sparks; and two sisters, Marjorie Roberts of Sparks, and Faye Carter of Enigma; nephew that was raised as a son, Bernie Bennet of Lenox. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by four brothers, James Bristol, R. B. Bristol, Lannis Bristol, and Larry Bristol; one sister, Libby Sumner.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Concord Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
