Melinda Brown Obituary

Mrs. Melinda Brown, 39 of West Berrien passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Brown was born December 20, 1978 in Lakeland, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of The Connection at Longbridge Church.

Survivors include her husband, Travis Brown of West Berrien; children, Cheyenne Dakota Brown of West Berrien, and Samuel Elliott Brown of West Berrien; father, William Youmans of Quitman; maternal grandmother, Mary Stone Brown of Hahira; and father & mother in law, Herman & Peggy Brown of West Berrien. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Youmans; and one brother, Christopher Youmans.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Connection at Longbridge Church with Pastor Jason Clanton, and Bro. Charles Connell officiating. Interment will follow at New River Free Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
