Mrs. Myrtle Mae Drawdy, 83 of Sparks passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her residence.  Mrs. Drawdy was born December 30, 1933 to the late William Byron & Katie Graham Connell.  She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.  

Survivors include her brother, John E. Connell of Sparks; one sister, Nell C. Brown of Sparks; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Drawdy was preceded in death by her husband, Riley W. Drawdy; and one brother, Lamar Byron Connell. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Bro. A. D. Connell, and Mr. Roger McDaniel officiating.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
