Payton Hugh Vance

Payton Hugh Vance, age 38, of Lenox, Ga., passed away August 10, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Payton was born on November 15, 1980 to Carolyn Lindsey Vance and Donnie Hugh Vance. Payton worked in the construction business and was a member of The Pisgah United Methodist Church. Payton’s greatest attributes were his enduring love for his family and friends, that vivacious smile, and unforgettable laugh, as well as his willingness to unconditionally help his fellow man. Payton loved children and animals, and had an uncanny ability to connect with them all.

Survivors include his parents, Carolyn & Donnie Vance of Lenox, GA; brother; Trenton Vance and fiancé, Tara Deluca; nephew Mason Vance all of Fort Lauderdale, Fl.; uncle and aunt; Evan Philip “Tink” and Jenny Lindsey; cousin Craig Lindsey of Rome, Ga.; aunt Carrie Lindsey and cousin, Sarah Lindsey of Orlando, FL; aunt Barbara Parks and cousins Bret Stone of Atlanta, Ga.; cousin Phyllis Wager of West Palm Beach, Fl. aunt Marsha Vance of Ocala, Fl.

Preceded in death by his material grandparents; Otis and Eunice Lindsey; paternal grandparents; Earnest and Olive Vance.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Purvis Funeral Home with Mr. Brant Lindsey officiating.
