Rita Ann Walker

Mrs. Rita Ann Walker, 50 of Adel passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Walker was born October 26, 1967 to the late Wiillis Irvin Franklin and Sue Butts Franklin.  She worked at the Quick Gas as the cook and attended Tifton Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Shane Walker of Adel; children, Thea Nichole (Micky) Gray of Sparks, Michael Shane (Amber Stewart) Walker of Adel, and Larry Lee (Wendy Wachowiak) Walker of Adel; grandchildren, Alexis Storey, Hayden Norman, Cayli Walker, Landan Walker, Laurann Weathersby, Robert Gray, Haley Cook, Kel Cook, and Lexi Cook; brothers, Edward Earl Franklin of Albany, Leon Franklin of Waycross, Steven Franklin of Waycross; sisters, Norma Sue Staggs of Richmond Hill, GA, and Alice Franklin of Waycross.  Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Franklin.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Stewart officiating.  The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
