Ron Register

Mr. Ron Register, 62 of Adel passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at his residence.  Mr. Register was born December 29, 1956 to the late Henry Ronald & Mary Lou Moore Register.  He served in the United States Marines for 4 years before moving to Adel from North Carolina, where he met his wife, Pam Register.  Mr. Register went to EMT school in 1983, to paramedic school in 1984, and then on to school becoming an Registered Nurse in  2002.  He worked in the Emergency Room for over 30 years in Cook Co, Brooks Co, Berrien Co, Lowndes Co, and various other counties.  Mr. Register served as a Cook County Deputy Coroner for over 3 years.  He enjoyed what he did and the people he worked with.  

Survivors include his wife, Pam Register of Adel; children, Ronnie (Kasey) Register of Adel, Ben Register of Adel, and Margret Ann (Logan) Bush of Savannah; grandchildren, Henry Register, and Mollie Register; brother, Stan (Martisa) Register of Tampa, Fl; and sister, Marrianne Watson of Lenox.  Mr. Register was preceded in death by one brother, David Register.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 2, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Mr. Bruce Phelps officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
