Sharon Sirmans Lankford

Mrs. Sharon Sirmans Lankford, 72 of Adel passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Lankford was born March 2, 1947 to the late Kinlaw Maxwell Cannon & Rebecca Irene Baker Cannon.  

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Lankford of Adel; children, Shawn Wesley (Pattee) Sirmans of Adel, Johnnie Belinda (Timothy) Bullard of Adel, Chere Lavon (Don) Newberne of Adel, Meichelle Elaine (Tommy) Griffin of Adel, and Ray Evelyn (Brent) Bloser of Adel; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; stepson, Christopher Scott (Amy) Lankford of Hahira; stepdaughter, Kimberly (Mike) Daly of Valdosta; brother, David (Renee) Cannon of Valdosta; and sister, Brenda (Frank) Redding of Adel.  Mrs. Lankford was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Renee Sirmans.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Brannon and Rev. Gary James officiating.  Interment will follow at Long Bridge Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
