Tru'ee Zendaya Powell

Infant, Tru'ee Powell, 3 months of Ray City passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center, Lanier Campus.  Tru'ee was born July 2, 2019 in Valdosta, GA.

Survivors include her mother, Kelsey Powell of Ray City; Kendrick Preston of Ga.; sisters, Tadaysha Jones of Ray City, Zeriah Jones of Ray City, Leighah Powell of Ray City, and Dezurai Powell of Ray City; maternal grandmother, Stacy Zanders of Ray City; maternal great grandfather, Lamar Zanders of West Green, GA; paternal grandfather, Kurt Jackson of Nashville and paternal grandmother, Tina Preston of Fl; aunt Jennifer Zanders of Ray City and several other aunts & uncles; special cousin, Lajacqalyn Floyd of Ray City and many more cousins and family members; godparents, R'Janna Carter & Keon Brown; and special family & friends, Jeremy Jones.  Tru'ee was preceded in death by her brother, Jermaine Powell, Jr; and great grandmother, Judy Bristol.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Clayton officiating.  Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery in Nashville.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
