Amie Funderburk Obituary

Mrs. Amie Lee Funderburk, 91 of Quitman passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Funderburk was born November 19, 1928 to the late Fletcher & Louvester Cumbie Meeks. She retired as a hairdresser.

Survivors include her children, Ira B. (Mary) Funderburk, Jr of Port Charlotte, FL, Janice (Thurman) Williams of Quitman, and Pamela J. (Robert) Silverman of Hurst, Tx; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Funderburk was preceded in death by her husband, Ira B. Funderburk, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home.
