Becky Browning

Mrs. Becky Browning, 42 of Adel passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Doctor's Hospital of Augusta. Becky was born May 11, 1980 in Adel and was a member of Greggs Baptist Church. She enjoyed going with her special sister, Dana to go get her nails done and they would pick out a t-shirt every month at Jessi July together. She loved her family and her chihuahua, Marco.

Survivors include her husband, Scotty Browning of Adel; mother, Susie Kirby of Kentucky; children, Austin Wayne Browning of Adel, Brianna Skye (Adam Lumpkin) of Douglas, and Katie Marie Browning of Adel; grandchildren, Kaedyn Browning, and Leon Bogan; brothers, James Brady, Jr of Adel, Jason Brady of Adel, and Jeffrey (Sherri Bolin) Brady of Kentucky; and special sister, Dana & John Folds, and Gradie. Becky was preceded in death by her father, James Brady, Sr., and sister, Jennifer Brady.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Greggs Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Gay officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Burn Foundation of America, 3614 J. Dewey Gray Circle, Building C, Augusta, GA 30909. The Burn Foundation housed and took care of Scotty while he was with Becky in Augusta.
