Betty Waters Obituary

Mrs. Betty Taylor Waters, 90 of Quitman passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Quitman Presbyterian Home. Mrs. Waters was born March 23, 1930 to the late Tom and Lavenia Folsom Taylor. She worked at Weeks Textile as Office Manager for 26 years. She was an active and faithful member of Quitman First Baptist Church and enjoyed playing bingo. Mrs. Waters was an amazing mother & grandmother "Granny."

Survivors her daughter, Cindy (Mike) Parris of Suffolk, VA; grandchildren, Amanda Sutton (Dennis) Baker, Emily (Jeff) Gramse, Amber (Ryan) Claudon, and Heather (O C )Omoike: great great grandchild, Andre Johnson of Nyla, Omoike.

A private graveside will be held with Rev. Steve Shierling officiating.
