Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Cockcroft, 69 of Perry Fl. passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Doctor's Memorial Hospital in Perry, Fl.  Mrs. Cockcroft was born March 20, 1950 to the deceased William Walter and Georgia Youngblood Hill.  

Survivors include her husband, Billy Cockcroft of Perry, Fl.; children, James Richard (Winnie) Monk, Jr of Perry, William Sampson (Chris) Cockcroft of Perry, Latrelle (Bill) Merlo of Perry, Amanda (Mark) Montgomery of Perry, and Marlena (Tyler) Lopez of Perry; grandchildren, John Michael Merlo, Kayla (Brian) Dixon, Willow Griffin, Billy Joe Merlo, Marlene Merlo, Emma Montgomery, Baileigh Montgomery, Sophia Montgomery, Branden Lopez, and Lyndon Lopez; brothers, Ronald (Debbie) Hill of Perry, Darrell (Diane) Hill of Perry; sister, Fannie Lee Hill of Valdosta; several nieces & nephews.  Mrs. Cockcroft was preceded in death by her brother, William Hill and brother & sister in law, Richard & Sissy Hill; one sister, Shirley Ann Coleman.   

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Rayford Walker officiating.  Interment will follow at Welcome Hill Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Serving as active pallbearers are David Monk, Tony Monk, Brian Dixon, Mark Montgomery, Bill Merlo, Gene Montgomery, and Chris Carpenter.
