Obituary
Brooke Atkins, 25 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Valdosta. Brooke was born January 14, 1998 and was baptised at Dixie Baptist Church in Dixie. She had a big heart and she loved her daughter Sophia with all of it. Brooke enjoyed reading, writing journals,and being outdoors.
Survivors include her daughter, Sophia Atkins of Valdosta; parents, Deron and Stacey Atkins of Valdosta; brothers, Jake Atkins of Valdosta, and Trent Marlett of Lake Park; sisters, Kayla Atkins of Valdosta, and Alyssa Atkins of Valodsta; paternal grandmother, Patricia Atkins of Valdosta; maternal grandparents, Aline and Bobby Mullis of Valdosta; aunt Melissa (Rick) Hart of Quitman; cousins Rick (Jasmine) Hart, Jr., Scarlett Hart, Sterling Hart,Gavin Hart, and Tristin (Jamie) Hart, Landon Hart, and Grayson Hart; nephew, Beckham Barrett of Valdosta, and niece, Blakely Barrett. Brooke was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Chet Atkins; and maternal great grandparents, Myrtle and Remer Johnson.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Community Church Cemetery on Hwy 133 with Pastor Danny Brevig.
