Eloise Dean

Mrs. Eloise Dean, 80 of Quitman passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Dean was born April 22, 1941 to the late Ralph and Minnie Jarvis Swilley. She was working at the chicken house in Quitman, when she met her husband, Buddy Dean. Mrs. Dean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who was better known as “grannysqueeze”. Mrs. Dean was a devoted grandmother to countless foster children

Survivors include her children, Wilbur Lee (Cathy) Dean of Lakeland, Larry Wayne (Cathy) Dean of Lake Park, GA, Terry (Jennifer) Dean of Hahira, and Wally (DeDe) Dean of Lake Park, GA; grandchildren, Christopher Burleigh, Clifford (Chelsea) Hiers, Jr, Alan Hiers, Brooklyn Renee Dean, Joseph Wayne Dean, Nicholas Allen Dean, Morgan Michelle Dean, Zachary Lee Dean, Mackenzie Topang, Lucas Dean, Audrey Pevey, Laila Dean, and Donovan Boone; great grandchildren, Katlynn Chaney, Maya Morton, Brantley Hiers, Mackey Hiers, Alaina Hiers, Kimberly Renee Dean, Evelyn Grace Dean, and Mateo Topang; brother, Charles Swilley. Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Dean; two brothers, James Swilley, and Wallace Swilley; and two sisters, Nancy Herrin, and Maria Swilley.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Park Civic Center, 123 N. Essa St, Lake Park, GA 31636.
