Glenn York

Mr. Glenn York, 69 of Sparks passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his residence. Mr. York was born August 31, 1952 to the late Lindy & Edna Huggins York. He worked with the City of Lenox before retiring. Mr. York enjoyed being outdoors and listening to gospel music. He loved his dogs, his wife, and family.

Survivors include his wife, Linda York of Sparks; stepsons, Jason (Martha) Watts of Moultrie, Daniel Watts & Mary Wallker of Moultrie, and Dewayne (Crystal) Watts of GA; step grandchildren, Dixie Watts, and Jacy Holifield; step great grandchildren, Anabel Holifield; brothers, Ricky (Crystal) York of Alapaha, and Gerald (Mary) York of Tifton; sister, Edna Darlene Jordan of Norman Park; and several nieces, nephews, & cousins. Mr. York was preceded in death by his former spouse of 35 years, Tansy York; brother, Charles York; and sister, Annette York.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Marti Thames officiating.
