Gracie Mae Burt

Mrs. Gracie Mae Burt, 74 of Moultrie passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at Pruitt Heath Magnolia Manor in Moultrie.  Mrs. Burt was born November 16, 1945 to the late Wiley & Reba Webb.  She was a seamstress with Riverside Mfg before retiring and was a member of Colquitt County Baptist Church in Moultrie.  

Survivors include her daughter, Meagan Burt of VA; grandchildren, Matthew Burt, Kyle Heatherly, Amber Heatherly, and Amy Heatherly; brother, Allen Webb of Nashville; and sisters, Mary Hinkle of Murray TX, Pam Etheredge of Sylvester, Lisa Futch of Tifton, and Barbara Evans of Nashville.  Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Burt; daughter, Charlotte Heatherly; brothers, Earl Webb, Richard Webb, and Phil Webb; and one sister, Dorothy Manus of Texas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Chris McPherson officiating and Bro Troy Hardy doing the eulogy.  Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
