Helen Register

Mrs. Helen Martin Register, 96 passed away July 16, 2022, in the Berrien Nursing Center. Mrs. Register was born October 15, 1925, to the late Clifford and Donnie Mae Martin. She was a homemaker and resided in Cook County most of her life. 

Survivors include her children, Lynda (Joe) Maine, C. W. Register; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sister, Betty Webb. Mrs. Register was preceded in death by her husband, Comer Register; daughter, Sandra Spikes; brothers, Billy Martin, Jimmy Martin, Cliff Martin; and sister Cleo Jones.

Viewing services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Purvis Funeral Home from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Longbridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Register was a kind, loving person and will be greatly missed by her family.
