Helen Scaff

Mrs. Helen Scaff, age 98, died at the home of her daughter in Adel on Monday, February 10, 2020.  She was the heart of the home, and had an unwavering faith in God and loved her Lord with all of her heart.

She leaves behind her daughters, Maureen Lane (Steve); Joanne Garneski (Joseph); three grandsons, John Slubowski, Jr., Christopher Garneski, Gregory Garneski (Jessica); one great granddaughter, Lyla; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Scaff was preceded in death by her husband, George of 70+ years; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George; and three brothers, Emil, Fred, and Ferris.

Mrs. Scaff was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend.  Over the years she loved to entertain, cook, and read.  Helen would always give a hug, a kiss, and tell everyone she loved them when saying good-bye.  She was a loving lady and a true gift to her family.  She will be deeply missed by all.

The family thanks the Southern Care Hospice Service for their love and dedication.

Services will be held Saturday, Feburary 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.at St.. Anthony's of Padua in Ray City, and laid to rest at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, GA at a later date.
