Jackie Weeks

Mrs. Jackie Weeks, 84 of Sparks passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Southwell Medical Hospital.  Mrs. Weeks was born February 24, 1936 to the late Robert Neal Yarbrough & Mary Guy Yarbrough.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and was clerk at the probate court from 1984 to 2004.  

Survivors include her sons, Sidney Loyd (Joyce) Weeks of Sparks, and Ronald (Linda) Weeks of Sparks; grandchildren, Michael Weeks, Ashle Weeks, Joshua Weeks, Ronnie Weeks, Willie Joseph Weeks, Kelley Myers, Glinda Cannon; great grandchildren, Brandon Weeks, Levi Weeks, McKenzie Wyate, Cohen Weeks, Cailee Weeks, Addyson Giddens, Gaven Giddens, Melissa Daughtry, Josh Daughtry, Caitlin Daughtry, Nikki Myers, Brooks Cannon, and Dakota Smothers; brothers, R. A. (Sherry) Yarbrough of Doerun, and Billy (Voleta) Yarbrough of Moultrie; sisters, Bobbie (Robert) Chapman of Norman Park, and Peggy (Troy) Tyson of Moultrie; daughter in law, Melinda Weeks of Cumming, GA.; and brother in law, Winton Stripling of Moultrie.  Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Weeks; son, Cecil Weeks; granddaughter, Brooklyn Tillman; brothers, David Yarbrough, and L.M. Yarbrough; sisters, Doris Stripling, Deborah Sellers, and Faustine Barker; and sister in law, Erma Yarbrough.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Eric Gordon officiating.  Interment will follow at Weeks Chapel Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
