Janet Elaine Hendon

Mrs. Janet Hendon, 56 of Quitman passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Hendon was born January 7, 1964 in Valdosta. She served in the United States Navy and had worked as a city dispatcher at Roadway. Mrs. Hendon attended First Baptist Church Quitman and loved her family, Jesus, her labradors, her Jeep, and thrift shopping.

Survivors: include her husband, Randy Hendon of Quitman; children, Shane (Katie) Simpson of Lake Park, Ryan Pyles of Quitman, Blaine Hendon of CA, Lindsay (Buck) Cargile of Valdosta, Casey (Colby) Ingram of Cario; grandchildren, Riley Pyles of Quitman, Wade Pyles of Quitman, Dalton Sapp of Quitman, Brynna Pyles of Quitman, Cub Cargile of Valdosta, and Morgan Rowland of Quitman; mother, Donelle (John) Greer of Ellijay and Frances Crosby of Quitman; sister, Terri (Donnie) DeCarlo of Quitman; brothers, Jason Crosby of Quitman, Ricky (Kim) Parker of Lake Park, and Tracy (Michelle) Parker of Quitman. Mrs. Hendon was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Mack Crosby and her brother, Michael Crosby.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at The Oasis Venue, 676 Ellenburg Rd. Quitman, GA 31643.
