Jimmy Simmons Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Simmons, 40 of Nashville passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020. Mr. Simmons was born November 12, 1979 to the late George Edgar Simmons & Rose Hughes Simmons. He served in the United States Army for 14 years during the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. Mr. Simmons was employed with Tift Regional Medical Center as a Surgical Technician.

Survivors include his children, Logan Simmons of West Virginia, Hunter Simmons of FL, Morgan Simmons of Ray City, Shelby Simmons of Ray City, and Bailey Simmons of West Virginia; grandchild, Aveleigh Johnson; brother, Earl Wayne Simmons of Nashville; and sisters, Bobbie Carol Hillhouse of Nashville, Shelia Schwab of Nashville, and Mandy Vickers of Nashville.

Private services will be held Monday, May 4, 2020. Military honors will be provided by the VVA Chapter #1090.
