Judy Hutchinson

Judy Hutchinson, 79 of Adel passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at her home. Judy was born July 11, 1944 in Ocilla to the late Clarence & Julia Hutchinson. She retired after 44 years working at Metal Products and was a member of Faith Ministry Church in Nashville. Judy loved to cook and have a big crowd to come and enjoyed the food that she had prepared. She loved all her nieces and nephews and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sisters, Elizabeth Johnson of Sparks, Linda Hutchinson of Adel, and Debra Bennett of Adel; and several nieces & nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence Thornton Hutchinson, Jr, and Gene Hutchinson; and sisters, Margaret Davis, Sue Spires, and Jackie Stone. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
