Linda K. Prentice
Obituary
Linda K. Prentice 76 of Adel, GA passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, after a short illness. She was born December 14, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Lucille K. Swanson Schwengels. Linda graduated from Auburn High School in 1964. She married her high school "Sweet Heart," Michael V. Prentice on April 16, 1966. They moved to Cape Coral Florida in 1978 and then to Adel in 2021.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Prentice; sisters, Bonnie (Daryl) Cosgrove of Beloit, Wis., and Janet Kamholtz of Rockford; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Brother-in-law, George and Esther Prentice, and sister-in-law, Peggy and Jerry Gavin. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred, Bradley, Larry Schwengels; sisters Betty Taylor, Carol Flood, and Nancy Radloff.
The family may have a memorial service at a later time.
