Mary Williams

Mary Frances Williams, 75 of Quitman passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at her residence. Mary was born November 28, 1946 to the late Estell & Mildred Crews Johnson. She was a member of Welcome Hill Church of Christ. She was a hairdresser, and enjoyed quilting & sewing. Mary loved her family very much.

Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Williams of Quitman; sons, Pride (Carol) Williams of Quitman, Gary Dewayne Williams of Valdosta, Robert Derrick (Leslie) Williams of Quitman, and Brett (Amanda) Williams of Sale City; grandchildren, Trevor Williams, Tyler Williams, Jeremy Williams, Courtney (Daniel) Hall, Casey (Pat) Taylor, Kayla Moore, Kailey Williams, Brailyn Williams, Bryson Williams, and Brindley Williams; great grandchildren, Keaton Hall, Harper Hall, Emori Williams, Jaleigh Wiggins, Anslyn Wiggins, Nayvie Taylor, Sutton Taylor, & Riley Taylor; brothers, Gary (Debbie) Johnson of Folkston, Shelton (Betty) Johnson of Folkston, Wayne Johnson of Folkston, and Earl (Remona) Folkston; and sisters, Faye Todd of Folkston, and Charlotte (Cory) Herring of Valdosta. Mary was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Morris.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Maxwell - Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Shierling officiating, Interment will be at Welcome Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
