Mildred Louise Walker

Mrs. Mildred Louise Walker, 87 of Tifton passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Walker was born October 7, 1932 to the late Willie & Mary Bannister Taylor. She retired from J. P Stevens and was a member of the Church of God in Tifton.

Survivors include her son, Roger Darrell (Lurina) Strickland of the Philippines; daughter, Vicky Dull of Crawfordville, FL; grandson, Jon Michael Rowan; great grandchilden, Taylor Rowan and Cloe Rowan; nieces and nephews, Denise Pope Dixon, Keith Pope, Tracy Carr, and Joy Wilds. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Walker; grandson, Jason W. Rowan; son in law, Michael H. Dull and sisters, Barbara Faye Taylor, and Wynell Pope.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. Interment will be at Oakey Grove Church Cemetery.
