Nancy Griffin

Mrs. Nancy "Bebop" Conley Griffin, 63 of West Berrien passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.  Mrs. Griffin was born October 19, 1956 in Tift County to the late Clyde Thomas Conley and Gladys Louise Conger Conley.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  Mrs. Griffin enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, attending church services and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Thomas Griffin of West Berrien; daughter, Joanna Griffin Cartee (Brad Cartee) of West Berrien; grandchildren, Halle Craven and Halyn Cartee of West Berrien; sister, Ruby Lee Scarberry of Brookfield; and brother, Edward "Bud" Conley of Tifon.  Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by one brother, James Conley; two half brothers, Rayford Jaques and Pete Jaques; two sisters, Mary Lois "Sukie" Conley, and Sara "Sally" Joyce Conley Mullis Saxton.  

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Pine Grove Church Cemetery with Pastor Charlene Griffin, Rev. Jimmie Hinson, and Pastor Charles Kent officiating.  When conditions related to the COVID-19 Pandemic allow, a public memorial service will be announced.  Please postpone all floral tributes until this time. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 3:00 p m at the Lenox Christian Fellowship with Rev. Jimmie Hinson, Pastor Charlene Griffin, and Pastor Charles Kent officiating.
