Obituary

Mr. Richard Charles “R C” Snow, 89 of Dixie passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Snow was born February 6, 1933 to the late Charlie Monroe Snow & Nora Crosby Snow. He served in the United States Army, and afterwards he worked with Florida East Coast Railway. He was a member of Elam Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Vince (Kim) Snow of Dixie; daughter, Londie Vickers of Valdosta: grandchildren, Evan (Megan) Snow, Dixie Gordon, Keith (Shelley) Snow, Savanna (Tristan) Sheffield, and Daisy Gordon; great grandchildren, Gracie Jane Marshall, Kinley Snow, and Jewel Snow. Mr. Snow was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Williams Snow, that passed away March 28, 2019; brother, Robert Snow; sisters, Annie Ruth Phillips, and Mazie Johnson; and son in law, Gene Vickers.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Elam Community Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Blow officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
