Sharon Marcia Lewis

Mrs. Sharon Marcia Lewis, 66 of New Lois Community passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Lewis was born June 7, 1955 to the late John & Freddie Heath Studstill. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Church of Christ and lived in New Lois Community. She graduated from Valdosta State University and she taught school for 30 years in Berrien and Lowndes County. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include her husband, William Lewis of New Lois; daughter, Salena M. (John) Miller of Watkinsville, GA; sons, Jason S. Lewis of New Lois, and Brian H. Lewis of Hahira; grandchildren, Cody Miller, Gabriel Miller, and Alena Miller; brother, John A. (Pat) Studstill, Jr of New Lois; sisters, Michelle Studstill (Tim) Hiers of New Lois, and Stacey  Studstill (Bill) Moore of Poulan; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Bro. Wes Hayzel, and Bro. Chance Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
