Shawna Ann Willis

Shawna Ann Willis, 71 of Thomasville passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville. Shawna was born October 6, 1949 to the late R G Willis and Agnes Berner Willis. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and loved 50's music, Santa and to tease people. She made several trips to the Scottish Rites Hospital because of her special needs. Shawna was a survivor, she is fortunate to be raised by a family that loved her and she loved them. She enjoyed her time at the Glenn Moore Nursing Home and where she had a special friend, Frank.

Survivors include her sister, Connie (Stephen) Jacobs of Boston; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; sister and brother in law, Sandra & Herb Wetherington of Dixie; and brother in law, Johnny Gore of Toccoa, GA. Shawna was preceded in death by her brother, Sandy Willis; and sister, Peggy Lee Willis Gore.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church with Rev. James Sheets officiating.  Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
