Obituary
Chris McLamb, 49 of Sumner passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Chris was born August 14, 1972 in Smithfield, N. C. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanie McLamb of Sumner; mother, Gwen Candell of Lenox; stepdaughter, Savannah (Cameron) Mathis of Tifton; step granddaughters, Aubree Mathis and Madilynn Jo Mathis, who called Chris, "Pa-C"; brother, Josh (Amanda) McLamb of Adel; sister, Angie (Richard) Hall of Sparks; nephews, John Morrison, and Shane Morrison; niece, Joshlyn McLamb; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Steven Carroll; and stepson, David Owens.
A private graveside service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at Lenox City Cemetery with Mr. Lindsey Evans, and Rev. Jay Kimbro officiating.
