Virginia Viola Propes

Mrs. Virginia Propes, 92 of Hahira passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Propes was born to the late Jack & Lillie May Beckham in Arkansas. She loved to fish and her gardening. She also loved having her grandbabies around her and you could find her at the Waffle House.

Survivors include her children, David Propes of Waycross, Steven Propes (Stephanie Hill) of Adel, and Clearnce (Linda) Propes of Waycross; grandchildren, Tammy Kennedy, Kevin Bennett, Virginia Chisler, Teresa Evans,Jennifer Propes, Tony Propes, Shirley Nettles, Elizabeth Jewell, David Jewell, Ronnie Propes, Joshua Propes, Justin Propes, Devin Propes, Corina Propes, Carmalita Day, Morilla Propes, Eli Propes, Cecil Harvey, Michelle Fednander, Gator Newham, Jr,; and many great grandchildren; son in law, Archie Greene of Adel. Mrs. Propes was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Propes; daughters, Geraldine Propes, and Maldine Greene; sons, Ronnie Joe Propes, Randy Propes, Preston Propes, John Henry Propes, and C F Propes; brothers, L. J. Beckham, and Howard Beckham; sister, Sara Morrell.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Forest Cemetery in Homerville with Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating.
