Wilma Jean White

Wilma Jean Jackson White, 89 of Quitman passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at home. Wilma Jean was born July 14, 1932. She was the daughter of Molly and Hezekiah Jackson. She married Ronald White of Arthur Illinois on November 22, 1950.

Survivors include her two children, Roger White and his wife, Toni of Fort Pierce Fl, and Teri Turner of Quitman; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. Wilma Jean worked at Progress Casket Co, and Schrock Inc. cabinet factory.

Wilma Jean was a loving caring wife, mother and friend to many. She loved crafts, dancing, and enjoying a long and happy life. Her favorite thing to do was shell pecans from the many pecan trees in her back yard in Georgia sitting on her back patio and watch the birds, and deers.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
